Jennifer’s Clinical Excellence and Gentle Strength
Jennifer is a registered nurse with more than 15 years of healthcare experience. Her background includes public health nursing, case management, pediatric pulmonary care, and both pediatric and adult patient care. Most recently, she has worked extensively in gerontology, supporting elderly individuals as they transition from hospital settings back into the community.
Her clinical expertise, combined with her calm and nurturing presence, ensures that residents receive thoughtful, attentive, and highly skilled care. Jennifer is especially passionate about advocating for seniors who need medical, social, and emotional support.
Joshua’s Heart for Sacred Moments
Joshua has served in healthcare for over 14 years as a hospital chaplain, journeying with thousands of patients and families through some of life’s most meaningful and vulnerable moments. His experience spans acute care, intensive care units, hospice, and palliative care settings.
He has supported families making difficult medical decisions, provided comfort at end of life, and educated individuals on Advance Care Planning. As an ordained Presbyterian minister with over 20 years of ministry experience, Joshua brings a deep respect for people of all faith backgrounds, cultures, belief systems, and values.
He is passionate about honoring diversity, protecting dignity, and walking compassionately alongside residents and families in every stage of life.
Peaceful Horizons Assisted Living was founded from both a professional calling and deeply personal experience.
Jennifer and Joshua have been married for 14 years and share a profound commitment to providing the highest level of care. Care that is dignified, respectful, and deeply compassionate. Having walked alongside many of their own aging family members and friends who require daily support as well as with thousands of patients, they understand firsthand the various challenges and weight families often carry when seeking the right home for a loved one.
Their work is a calling.

As parents of two young children, they cherish family deeply. That love for family and for others shapes the atmosphere of each of their Assisted Living homes. Each home is warm, welcoming, and filled with heart.
